Student registrations is the first “on campus” interaction between students and universities. A welcoming and memorable first impression lasts forever. Hundreds of students register annually and many others visit the registrations office on regular basis.   

For efficient management of student flow in Islamabad and Lahore campuses, FAST National University opted for Qmatic Orchestra

The goal was streamlined registration processes,  optional contactless queues on student mobile phones and most importantly, time saving for students, their families and the workforce.

Qmatic Orchestra is at the heart of this cloud based queue management solution. When students arrive, they can either take a ticket from the Qmatic Intro 8 Touch Screen Kiosk or by using Qmatic Mobile Ticket after scanning a QR code from their mobile phones.

Students can then wait either in the office or elsewhere. They are notified of their turn with a notification on their mobile phones as well as TV screens placed in the office.

Results

With improved flow of students and efficient utilisation of seating space as well as optimised human resources, FAST NU is able to manage higher number of students with existing staff in a shorter time.
